Over 200 real cases presented within the support groups and answers to questions given by a specialized staff.

When my lovely father and my aunt were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease I was absolutely determined to find the causes of this dreadful disease and the best treatment. I succeeded to overcome all preconceived ideas and I advanced on the ladder of knowledge, understanding and deciphering the causes and the meaning of the disease.

Only in this way I succeeded in understanding where I have been wrong and what should I correct and make right in life. Now I’m free of fear – fear of getting ill, fear to loose my job, fear of getting sick.

Dear Friends,

My name is Angela Garammondt. My profession is economist and presently I work as a Financial Manager in a medium-sized company that promotes electrical apparatus, domestic and electrical devices.

Not for a moment had I thought that I would be facing the most difficult moments and tests of my life. This was 10 years ago, more precisely in March 1998. I am 38 years old now and I am not the only one with a fighting experience with the Alzheimer’s Disease.

My every day attendance in the support meetings helped me very much. I found the necessary support to keep my physical and mental balance that I needed.

I received assistance within the support groups from not only the psychiatrist but also the help of a psychologist and of a priest in understanding that there is no possible way to talk about a real healing unless we treat the person in its wholeness, on all three levels: body – mind - spirit.

Why did I write this book?

"Your Guide to Alzheimer’s Disease” expresses a part of my knowledge gathered in the 10 years of experience with this disease.

photoOver 200 real cases presented within the support groups and answers to questions given by a specialized staff, materials and all the information I found in all these years, the advice and the directions from the people who really supported me. I am convinced that in all the cases and in all the questions presented by me in the material, you will find the answers to all your problems, because you have to be certain of a thing from the beginning: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Who needs the information in this book?

Many of the people opinions regarding the Alzheimer's Disease and who may get ill or the way in which the disease affects these persons, or more importantly the causes of this disease, are often deformed or incomplete.

These opinions do nothing else than to emphasis the ill persons’ stigmatization, keeping their understanding and help, which they need so much, down. As much as we are informed about the disease’s significance, about its message and its deciphering, and about the causes of the disease, it will be easier for us to face reality.

photoI wrote this book in a clear and direct language, addressing all those who are trying to find an answer as comprehensive as possible to all the Alzheimer’s causes and manifestations.

The book’s goal is to make you understand that the disease is not a failure or a weakness, but you have to take it as a signal that something has to be changed in your life, and the moment of appearance of the disease is the moment when this change has to be made.

God bless you!
